Visva Bharati University Admission Process 2024

Visva Bharati University admission for the year 2024 initiates with the application process through CUET (Common University Entrance Test). Candidates interested in seeking admission must complete the online application form. Stay tuned to this page for updates on the Visva Bharati admission process.

  1. You need to apply through CUET Samarth online only except B.Ed. and M.Ed. course or simply through the official website. 
  2. Admit cards (wherever applicable) to be generated at the university website
  3. Applicants will have to report at least one and a half hours before commencement of the admission test. 
  4. The Admission Tests for courses (wherever applicable) will be conducted in Santiniketan and Sriniketan by the respective department
  5. Applicants must produce their original final mark sheets of previous public examinations and other relevant documents along with attested photocopies at the time of admission to various courses failing which his/her candidature will not be considered for admission

Course-wise Eligibility and Selection Criteria

Applicants must meet the minimal eligibility requirements and go through the necessary selection processes in order to be considered for any of the university's many UG and PG programs. The following lists the requirements for each course's eligibility and selection:

  • BSc: Students need to have passed Class 12 with a minimum of 50%. Selection is based on CUET Exam.
  • BA: Students need to have completed Class 12 with at least 45%. Selection is based on CUET Exam.
  • MSc: Graduates Students need to have a minimum of 45% to be eligible. Selection is through ICAR AIEEA CUET-PG.
  • MA: Graduate Students need to have a minimum of 45%. Selection is based on CUET Exam PG.
  • UG Diploma: Students need to have passed Class 12. Selection is based on CUET Exam.
