CUET UG 2024: NTA Adds Two New Subjects

As per the FAQs, the agency has added two new subjects - fashion studies and tourism. The exam is being offered in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India. 

Candidates will now be able to choose from 29 domain subjects. The registration process for CUET UG 2024 is currently underway at cuetug.ntaonline.in. The application form must be filled out by the last date to enter the CUET domain subject preference.

CUET UG 2024 Syllabus:

Language is to be tested through Reading Comprehension (based on different types of passages–Factual, Literary, and Narrative), Literary Aptitude, and Vocabulary.

Domain Subject syllabus is as given on NTA website – exams.nta.ac.in/CUET-UG/.

General Test topics include General Knowledge, Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Numerical Ability, Quantitative Reasoning (Simple application of basic mathematical concepts arithmetic/algebra geometry/mensuration/stat), Logical and Analytical Reasoning.

In the second week of May, city slips and admit cards are likely to be issued. May 15 through May 3 will be the dates for the CUET UG 2024 examination. However, UGC Chairman M Jagadish Kumar has hinted at the possibility of changes to the exam dates due to the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

CUET (UG) - 2024 is offered in 380 locations, including 26 outside India. The examination format will include multiple-choice questions, with candidates able to take the paper in 13 different languages, including Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Oriya, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
