CUET Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates are strongly advised to carefully examine the eligibility criteria before commencing CUET 2024 Registration.

  • CUET is open to candidates of any age who have completed their Class 12 examinations or are currently enrolled in their Class 12 academic year. However, it’s crucial for candidates to ensure compliance with any age limitations imposed by the respective university, institution, or organization to which they are applying.
  • General category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 50% in their Class 12 examinations, whereas SC/ST category candidates must have obtained a minimum of 45%.

Every year, the CUET UG conducting body - NTA, releases the official syllabus for the exam. It is an important document for participating students because it contains a list of topics that the students must cover in order to take the exam. It should be noted, however, that the list is not exhaustive, and participating students should cover the entire syllabus for their domain subjects.
