CUET UG 2024: Exam city slip to be out by May 5, admit card releasing around May 2nd week

UGC Chairman Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar informed that NTA will likely announce exam city intimation slips by May 5, and release admit cards by May second week.

NTA will release examination city intimation slips for CUET UG 2024 by May 5, while admit cards will be available from the second week of May.

This was informed by UGC Chairman himself, Mamidala Jagadesh Kumar on Sunday. By microblogging site X (formerly Twitter), the UGC Chairman said, “The National Testing Agency is likely to announce the City of Examination information for CUET-UG by 5th May or earlier.

Students who want to download the CUET 2024 Admit Card can do it from the official website that will begin in the second week of May 2024.”

Candidates will be able to download the intimation slip from the official website, when released.

Steps to download the exam city intimation slip when released:

  1. Go to the official website at cuetug.ntaonline.in
  2. Log in by entering your details.
  3. Click on the CUET UG 2024 exam city slip link.
  4. Download your exam city slip and keep a printout for further need.

CUET UG 2024 exam is going to be conducted from May 15 to May 24, 2024, in hybrid mode (Computer-based and also in pen-and-paper mode). And it has been recorded that 13.48 lakh candidates are going to be appearing for CUET UG at various Examination Centers located in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India.

As many as 63 test papers are being offered in the CUET (UG) – 2024. 45 minutes will be allotted for the examination.

For subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, and General Tests, the test will last 60 minutes. Four shifts will be conducted during the exam - shift 1A will be held between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m., shift 1B from 12.15 p.m. to 1 p.m., shift 2A will be held between 3 p.m. and 3.45 p.m., and shift 2B will be held between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m.

In contrast, other papers will be conducted in three shifts, shift 1 from 9am to 11.15am, shift 2 from 1.15pm to 2.45pm, and shift 3 from 4.45pm to 6.15pm.
