CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern
- The CUET UG 2024 exam will be administered in a hybrid format, consisting of both a computer-based examination (CBT) and a pen and paper test. It is composed of four sections:
- Section 1 (Part A)- 13 Languages (Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Gujarati, Odia, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi, English, Hindi, and Urdu)
- Section 1 (Part B)- 20 Languages (French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, Chinese, Sanskrit)
- Section 2- 27 Domain Specific Subjects
- Section 3- General Test
Candidates have the option to choose a maximum of 6 subjects including languages (Indian & Foreign) and General Tests.
Candidates in the CUET Exam will have to answer 40 out of 50 questions for all test papers and 50 out of 60 for the general test (a choice of 10 questions in all subjects).
Choice of Test Papers: Candidates can choose 6 test papers (4 or 5 domain subjects including general test and 1 or 2 languages).
New Changes in CUET UG 2024 Exam Pattern
The most significant change in the CUET UG 2024 is that candidates can now pick up to six subjects (including languages, domain-specific, and general tests). Last year, an applicant may pick up to ten subjects.
This year's CUET UG 2024 test will be administered in a hybrid format (both CBT and pen paper-based), whereas the exam was exclusively administered in CBT mode previous year.
