CUET 2024 UG: ICAR is Now Open for Registrations for B.Sc and B.Tech Agriculture Courses

Students are informed that the admissions to undergraduate programmes in the Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR) All India Quota seats will now be filled via the CUET UG 2024 exam. The CUET 2024 exam is schedule from May 15 to May 31. CUET 2024 applications are currently open and will be accepted until March 26.
Interested candidates can find the information bulletin in the website CUET Samarth HERE or on the CUET UG 2024 on the NTA website and for CUET (ICAR UG) 2024 on the official ICAR website at www.icar.org.in.
Applications are being accepted for 12 different programmes under the ICAR-AU system for the CUET UG 2024 exam. Each of these programmes spans four years. CUET (ICAR UG) 2024 merit rank will determine admission.
At www.icar.org.in, the ICAR website will display available seats in the 12 different programmes. ICAR-AU offers these programmes through Agricultural Universities. Admissions to the ICAR All India Quota (AIQ) were available for 5221 seats for the academic year 2023-24.
The programmes includes:
B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences), B.Sc. (Hons.) Forestry, B.Sc. (Hons.) Community Science, B.Sc. (Hons.) Food Nutrition and Dietetics, B.Sc. (Hons.) Sericulture, B.Tech. Agricultural Engineering, B.Tech. Dairy Technology, B.Tech. Food Technology, B.Tech. Biotechnology, and B.Sc. (Hons.) Natural Farming.

Eligibility Criteria
- You need to have completed their 12th examination, with a minimum marks of three subjects selected from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, and Agriculture/Inter-Agriculture as core courses.
- Candidates who apply for topics other than those they studied in their senior year of high school will not be accepted and will not be eligible for counseling or admission.
- During the exam, they must only attempt the topics (at least three) specified in the Application Form.
- Applicants should familiarize themselves with the admission criteria before submitting the online application form for CUET (ICAR-UG) 2024. Factors including upper age limit, subject eligibility for certain programmes, gender-specific preferences, and more should be considered as per the university criteria.
