Programmes:Under the National Education Policy (NEP) of 2020, there is a four-year undergraduate program known as FYUGP (Four-Year Under Graduate Programme).
Programme/ Course offered:Bachelor's Program in Humanities with options in Hindi, English, Sanskrit, Urdu, Bengali, Philosophy, Khortha, Kudmali, Santhali, and Music.
General, optional Languages associated with the programs: Section IA (Language) comprises options in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Bengali. Additionally, Section IB (Language) offers choices in Sanskrit and Santhali. A minimum of one selection from either Section IA or IB is required. Moving on to Section II (Domain subjects), options include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Geology, Commerce, Philosophy, Economics, Geography, History, Home Science, Political Science, Psychology, Sociology, and Anthropology. It is mandatory to choose any two subjects from the four listed as domain subjects. Finally, Section III (General Test) is compulsory for all candidates.
Qualification for the program: Students who have successfully completed their Grade 12/Intermediate/equivalent exams are eligible to apply for admission. Admission criteria for each category require attaining at least the minimum passing marks in the previous lower-level examination.
