Qualification for the program:Candidates must have successfully completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate score of 50%. Additionally, applicants should not exceed 22 years of age as of July 1, 2023, with a birth date on or after July 2, 2001. For Honours Allotment, students can choose from a variety of subjects including Hindi, Kannada, Marathi, Persian, Pali, Sanskrit, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Nepali, English, Japanese, Chinese, German, French, Russian, Ancient Indian History Culture & Archaeology, History of Art, Philosophy, Linguistics, Geography, Mathematics, Statistics, Tourism and Travel Management, Economics, Home Science, Music (Instrumental/Vocal), Painting, Education, Dance (Kathak and Bharatnatyam). However, admission to certain subjects like B.A. (Hons.) in Economics is limited to students who have studied Economics, Mathematics, and Statistics in their first to fourth semesters. The allotment of Honours in the B.A. Social Sciences group, including Economics, History, Political Science, Sociology, Psychology, Mathematics, Statistics, and Geography, will be based on the candidate's merit during the counseling process.

Qualification for the program:(a) Passed MADHYAMA Examination of BHU/Madhyama/Uttar Madhyama/Upa Shastri/Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate, and (b) Sanskrit must be one of the subjects in the concerned examination, and the candidate should have passed in this subject as well. Candidates who have passed a one-year certificate course in Sanskrit from BHU after passing the 10+2 examination with 50% marks in aggregate in both the 10+2 examination and the certificate examination are also eligible. AGE: Not to be more than 22 years on 1st July 2023 (applicant should be born on or after 2nd July of 2001). Qualification for the program:An applicant who has successfully completed or is currently appearing in the Senior Secondary School (10+2) or equivalent examination from a recognized university in India or abroad, or from a Senior Secondary Board or equivalent recognized by the Union or a State Government, or from any equivalent institution in a foreign country recognized by the respective government for the issuance of a qualifying certificate upon successful completion of the course. However, applicants who have obtained 10+2 or Graduation/Post-graduation through open Universities System directly without having any basic qualification for pursuing such studies shall not be eligible for admission to the 5-year B.A. LL.B. (Hons.) Course. The minimum marks required in the qualifying examination for admission are not below 50% of the total marks for General category applicants, 45% for OBCs, and 40% for SCs & STs applicants.
